Q. What is the difference between Signature’s Type 1, 2 & 3 mouthguards and other "boil & bite" mouthguards?

A. Although Signature’s Type 1, 2 & 3 are "boil & bite" mouthguards that is where the comparison starts and finishes. Signature’s off the shelf mouthguards incorporate many of the safety features from the Signature Professional types into patented technology that ordinary "boil & bite" mouthguards don’t have. Also, the Type 3 mouthguard's ProPlusGel technology makes this mouthguard close to a professionally prescribed and fitted mouthguard, but at an affordable cost.

Q. I wear braces, which type should I wear?

A. The Type 1 is specifically designed to be worn with orthodontic bands. While it incorporates many of the features found in the Type 2 & 3 mouthguards, its specific purpose is to offer the best possible protection at an affordable cost, as the mouthguard should be replaced each time the orthodontic bands are adjusted.
