Following 14 years of extensive research and design by brothers Peter and Michael Burns of Burns and Burns Dental Laboratories
(Sydney, Australia) , Signature Mouthguards was founded with the launch of its ground breaking Type 4 custom fabricated
mouthguard at the Dental Technica World Trade Show in Nuremberg, Germany in September 1993. With intimate fit, high abrasion
resistance and long term dimensional stability Signature Mouthguards received international acclaim, revolutionising the previously
accepted standards of oro-facial protection for sports participants.

Within two years of its initial launch, Signature Mouthguards had established an unrivalled presence in Australian Sport. Clients have
included the Australian Rugby League Team, Australian Rugby Union Team, Australian Mens Hockey Team, Australian Womens
Hockey Team, Australian Netball Team, Australian Mens Basketball Team, Australian In-line Roller Blading Team and more.

Over the past decade Official Supplier status was also granted to Signature Mouthguards by a number of major sporting
organisations including Australian Rugby League, Australian Rugby Union and Australian Hockey Association Inc. plus our
mouthguard is an Approved Product of the Australian Institute of Sport.

Teams from the UK, Spain, Germany, Australia and the USA participating in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics were also fitted with
Signature mouthguards as were Olympians participating in the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympics.

Signature mouthguards are currently sold in many overseas countries, including; United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, South
Africa, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Crotia, Singapore, Hong Kong & Thailand.

In 2005 Signature Mouthguards entered into a long term agreement with the Reebok International group for the exclusive
distribution of Signature's mouthguards into the North American & Scandinavian markets under several brand names, including;
Reebok, RBK & CCM. These mouthguards are marketed under the 'Smartmouth' label.
